Bristol Bodyboarders x I Am Possible Foundation

We are amped as a club to announce we will be working with the I Am Possible Foundation this September in a session at the wave to bring bodyboarding to their community. I Am Possible Foundation was set up by Nicole Brennan to bring support to others who are growing up with limb differences. Their vision is to create a world where ability is not defined by an individual’s form or physical appearance with the belief that through increasing visibility, creating a community, information/resource sharing and events they will equip and empower individuals with limb differences to challenge perceptions of ability and overcome obstacles.

As a club we first became aware with the foundation at The Wave Surf Show and quickly became interested in helping them to break down barriers and bring the sport of bodyboarding to the great community that they’ve built.

Members of the Bristol Bodyboarders club will join community members of I Am Possible at The Wave Saturday 21st September in an Adv session at 5pm. The session is a fantastic opportunity for us as a club to link with a foundation like I Am Possible and hope to showcase the joy that riders can experience whilst on the boog regardless of experience.

We look forward to working with Nicole and the team at I Am Possible Foundation.
