The club was fundamentally built to bring enthusiasts of the sport from Bristol and surrounding regions together to create a positive community. With that still very much being a core value of ours, as the club has grown and found its feet it is our collective goal to now encourage the next generation & more females into the sport.
In time we aim to do all we can to assist bodyboarding within England & the UK in strengthening the pathway for young riders to be able to compete at competition level. There is without question a resurgence in popularity for the sport of Bodyboarding within the UK. We strongly believe this will continue as more wave pools like The Wave – Bristol are built around the UK, exposing a bigger demographic to the sport. We feel it is now our responsibility to help the growth of the sport in anyway we can and who knows eventually see riders from Bristol and surrounding regions compete at national competitions.
